Yes.. this is our very own galaxy “caught” in a glass cube. Around 80,000 stars were etched using a laser based off of three-dimensional data collected by Japan’s National Astronomical Observatory. The cube measures 12 cm square and is available for 80,000 Yen.

The first cube was produced for the “Window” exhibition at Mashiko/Starnet in 2005. Who’s in for getting one? As you can see the design is just as much as needed to work within any style of house.
The whole story on Living World

What a cool idea! Were can I get one?
First! oh and nice galaxy :)
hey look i see earth !
Be careful, the black hole in the center will one day eat your house.
[...] Go fill out the form to buy one from outside Japan, or just look around Livingworld {Guilty Pleasure} [...]
hey look at me, i have so few opinions and such low iq, and am such a dullard, that all i can do is type FIRST! when i’m not even first, and no one gives a flying crap, for no discernible reason other than i am a complete douchebag.
I can see my house from here! :P
Actually it would be galaxies etched into the glass, not stars.
