Villainess – Redefining Bad

by Miss Tique on 5 March 2009 | 4 Comments

Once in a while most everyone has a thirsty lust within them that’s just waiting for the right moment. When that moment arises, we all know. There won’t be any guilty pleasure higher than soothing your sense. And Villainess is exactly this : a merge of candor, accountability, safety, efficacy and indulgence – used to redefine skincare and its needs.

But before going further I must admit that something else has drawn me to their website in the first place. Some of you already know that I fall for great words and clean design. And Villainess sounds appealing. And alluring. The brand has that ” je ne sais quoi” only French people seem to know.

And the packaging… oh, the packaging is decadent. Firmly underlined by a vintage touch, every case and wrapping seems to be carefully chosen to compliment and emphasize the products. The really picky me hopes for glass and not plastic cases and bottles, too.

So what exactly is Villainess? In their own words

Vil·lain·ess ‘vi-l?n-n?s n : a woman who is a villain

Vil·lain·ess ‘vi-l?n-n?s n
1 : an uncanny, articulate woman
2 : a deliberate antagonist or tease
3 : an intelligent woman in a tabloid or gossip
4 : the fall-girl in a particularly difficult situation

Villainess. Redefining “bad.”

There is one thing I don’t like about your site. It always makes me want to buy. And I’m not supposed to be shopping!!

Thanks for telling me about Villainess!

I like all the things I feature here, but obviously not all turn my first buying instinct into purchase. However, I’m more than tempted to indulge myself with some Villainess.
