Underwear As Outerwear. Agent Provocateur’s Waspie & Teddy
As seen at New York Fashion Week, it seems that underwear as outerwear dictates the lingerie trends this year. Not that celebs haven’t already set a similar direction in the summer of 09.
Luxury lingerie brands seem to go with the flow. Agent Provocateur‘s new in Damsella lingerie range and the High Kick Teddy can easily be worn as undergarments on display sexy attitude and outfit.
The Damsella waspie is perfect for wearing over a dress on a night out. It features detachable suspenders, and an exclusive dark botanical print. Charming spidery embroided trim runs around the edge, whilst a black dewy ribbon ties around the waist and fastens in a bow at the centre front.
For a daring evening look wear the Agent Provocateur’s High Kick Teddy with a pencil skirt or tailored shorts. The silk teddy scoops into a sweetheart neckline, accentuated with a large silk bow tie; it features a sexy open back and delicate chiffon frills and ties.
If you are willing to rock the underwear as outerwear trend, steal a pinch of style from the catwalks. Try corsets with jeans, cardigans with slips, or high wasted underwear with long blazers. Wear just enough outerwear so you don’t look like you were in such a hurry that you forgot to get dressed.
