The brand name, Un-Conventional, transpired from a brainstorm moment. I thought it was the most suitable way to describe my pieces, and even decided to use the word in an unconventional way!
Each necklace I create, is a one-of-a-kind piece that has a special name and story behind it. When I design, I often loose myself in the story… a few tears might be dropped onto your necklace… sorry(:
I use vintage and recycled materials, along with earthly delights. The people that know me say my pieces reflect me, I take that as such a compliment!
Nature, wildlife, and life situations are the inspiration behind my creations. One of the main reasons I wanted to start selling my jewelry, was because I wanted to be able to help wildlife.
I donate 20% of each purchase to Wildlife Organizations. For me, it is the foundation of my business and it is what drives me to push harder. The more I sell, the more that I get to give.
