LazyBreeze Jewelry

by Melissa, one of the two ladies owners of the venue

“Originally, I started LazyBreeze Jewelry with my cousin’s wife to help her sell her stash of handmade jewelry. She’d been making them for years and had at one point tried to sell them, but the friend who was helping didn’t follow through. I offered to assist, and between the two we came up with the name, look and feel of the shop. We’re both very health and eco-conscious, we’ve always been “green” girls, preferring natural, handmade products and of course, loving indie jewelry.

I, personally, have always loved to own eclectic, one of a kind jewelry. I’m the kind of girl who gets very upset if she sees someone wearing the same watch. I started making jewelry in college with my best friend, for fun, to show off. I picked it back up again to help my cousin, and have been very involved since. I’ve realized its one of my few truly artistic methods of expression. Playing with beads and stones makes me happy, it grounds me, soothes me, but thrills me at the same time, to look at all the shiny pretty things and know, “I can make something kickass out of that!”

LazyBreeze Jewelry is all about jewelry that’s casual, easy to wear with anything. Its made when we’re relaxed and take time to enjoy the beauty of nature’s treasures. Many times the designs aren’t even planned, they just flow, a sparkling idea only seen as its created. “

One more thing. Several sets and bracelets are now available at discounted prices. Go take a look.
