I first landed on Jildor shoes website by mistake. While googling to research for more info to write a Stuart Weitzman shoes related article, I was directed to Jildor and got carried away by the wide variety of designer footwear, from Uggs, Jack Rogers, Stuart Weitzman, MARC by Marc Jacobs, to Juicy Couture, Tory Burch, or KOS Michael Kors , the site offers.

Well designed and easy to navigate, Jildor is a pleasure to e-window shop. After several bookmarks and still curious about the name, I sent an email asking for the story behind it and found out that  Jildor is derived from family members names. With a history of 60 years as an independent retailer, I should have thought better before taking a guess that it’s French (because of the way it’s pronounced).
