After mesmerizing the entire world with their delicate and saucy bridal lingerie, Fleur of England is once again in our spotlight with the Slips and Camisoles 2011 Collection.
Even more delightful than anything Fleur of England has previously done, any camisole of this collection is a must-have. Or maybe 2, or why not all of them!
The eclecticism of the fabrics they use, the passion for flattering designs and the well trained designers seem to be just why Fleur of England needs to remain on the tip of every woman’s tongue.
You may be wondering what the buzz is all about. Allow me to show it to you.
The Powderpuff Silk Camisole is my first example of intriguing seduction this collection stands for. The semi sheer powder pink georgette is teamed with silk satin. The result? An incredibly romantic camisole, with delicate georgette cups and a floaty skirt. This design is a total silhouette flatterer and on top of it all, a pearl button subtly highlights the back.
Remember the Something Blue bridal collection? Well, this range also has a Silk Camisole and Shortie for you to pamper yourself in. The delicate semi sheer lace cups and the gently flowing silk skirt totally won me over, which is why I am the proud owner of this amazingly sexy camisole. I think I will also get the high waisted shortie. It’s so retro chic, and you know me, never say NO to retro.
The Daisy Dreams bra is one of the most beautiful bras I’ve ever seen. When I saw that this range also has a Babydoll, I thought I died and went to heaven. Cream silk cups look simply splendid and the sun ray panels of silk satin and lace only put the S in sexy.
Apparently, Sweet Nothings is a simple design with a detail or two here and there. But don’t we all know that simplicity makes the world go round? This Babydoll offers support and a beautiful body shape, especially in the bust area, where there is a padded balcony bra to highlight your lines. Sheer silk georgette is the luxurious detail in this magnificent creation.
Something Blue Lace Babydoll is made of some of the finest European laces. Silk cuffs make this babydoll look so romantic and elegant. And the color only enhances the beauty of this attentively created babydoll.
What does the word Playsuit tell you? To me, it’s like an open invitation to, well, let’s call it exploring. Made of icing stretch silk satin, this range has a ‘70s vibe. A small pearl button reigns over this exquisite playsuit. The delicacy of the straps and the Eyelash French are the perfect finish to this couture undergarment.
A nice cute Kimono was created for the Daisy Dreams range. It is backless, features a beautiful drape and maintains the lait-motif of this collection, the sun ray panels. It is sophisticated, luxurious and incredibly sexy. Another kimono is given by the Sweet Nothings range. Also backless, this kimono is finished with delicate lace strip details on the Icing silk sleeves. Words can’t describe the sensuality of this seductive design. This is what the word “futile” really means.
I love grey, this is a color that says by itself all there is to be heard. This dusky grey cami is called Keepsake. It’s by far one of the most elegant camisoles I have ever laid eyes on. What else can you say about pleated silk georgette and French eyelash lace, and to top it all, a sparkling Swarovski crystal button? The fine silk straps complete this feeling that someone put a spell on you.
Feel the skin of the night with this midnight silk and French eyelash lace Midnight Storm Babydoll. And right they are! No words are left to say, except for luxurious, seductive and oh so captivating!
I doubt I will ever be let down by Fleur of England, which is quite a big deal in this infinite world of innumerable designers.
The Camisoles and Slips Collection of 2011 is a good reminder Fleur of England (available also at Journelle) is here to stay on our guilty pleasures lingerie list for a long long time.
