
Christies was started in 1980 in Quistello in the province of Mantua, Italy. The lingerie brand positioned itself from the very beginning as appealing to the upper end of the market: boutiques and exclusive specialty shops.

The stylistic aspect of the collections is given a top priority, with great attention devoted to the fashion content of the various items, the selection of the most luxurious and innovative fabrics – only Italian fabrics, French laces and Swiss embroideries are normally used – and fine craftsmanship in the finishing and detail work.



In the early 90’s, Christies launched a collection of beachwear, a perfect complement to the foundation garments and geared to their established customer base. At the end of 1996, the company decided to launch a new label in order to diversify their target. Naory is a more exclusive, more prestigious label with higher fashion content and greater quality in terms of workmanship and fabrics.


Following Naory, the Christies Femme line came out, an ongoing, seasonal collection of Lingerie, including bras and bodysuits with sized cups, more high-tech models that are still very elegant and sophisticated. Along with Christies Femme, there’s Tatto, a basic, non-seasonal line that can be reordered, with clean, almost minimalist styling.

The woman who inspires the Christies collections is an urban, sophisticated individual with tastes that have evolved over the years in harmony with the collections.
