Silence lies in the heart of storms.

Art has been a part of my life since the beginning. I was the kid who always carried crayons around and sketched anything I could. I grew up in very rural Vermont and spend hours on end playing alone in the forests. To me everything was beautiful, rays of sun on morning dew, hush of wings flashing by, smell of soft, thick moss beneath my feet. I realized that I could not express all I saw with just words, there needed to be more. For many years painting, sketching and pastels became my medium.

I was diagnosed with RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) a few years ago, I now can only use my hands for brief periods of time throughout the day and even then it’s troublesome. I felt I needed to find a new medium, one that I could work around this restriction. Jewelry - yes, capture the wonder of my world in wearable art. My husband created special vises and other tools that I could use and then I began my new art venture! Art is too much an integral part of who I am to just throw in the towel. Now, my art gives me wings to fly.

I hope I can create works of art that people enjoy wearing and calls to their unique soul! I love to make custom pieces with personal items that people send to me and say “make this special”. What can I do for you?

Ever Since I was a child I have had a passion for crystals… I was totally fascinated with the rainbows of light a faceted sun catcher crystal hanging in the sunlight would paint all around a room. Last year a friend of mine started making jewelry and it wasn’t long before I decided to give it a go myself! I started out just making things for myself because hey, let’s be honest, you can NEVER have too many earrings! I started out using different supplies faux pearls plastic beads crystals and I must admit it is the crystals that got me! Now 99.9% of the things I make have Swarovski Crystals as the focal point… Did I mention that I REALLY like crystals? I had such a favorable reception to my earring and necklace creations that I decided to give it a go and try to sell my stuff on EBay.

Now I am listed on EBay and Etsy… Just this last week I decided to give made it myself and Silkfair a try as well… I do local craft fairs and I am doing everything I can to get myself out there! Right now my EBay store and my Etsy store have pretty much the same things listed; I did this so people wouldn’t have to make new accounts…
