Everything you want to know about what people actually understand in guilty pleasures.
What is a guilty pleasure? How do you define it? I guess you too, would have hard times putting the concept into words, so I tried to get an answer in one of my main guilty pleasures: the internet. Surprisingly enough, dictionary.com and Wikipedia gave me only echoes of the expression. Google didn’t react either.
What’s the next step? How about try hitting Google with “guilty pleasure is defined as” — finally, a couple of hints.
* “A guilty pleasure is defined as something you enjoy, even though you know it’s bad for you.” Stephen Wong
* “A Guilty Pleasure is defined as something that would ruin us if our friends knew about it.” MissKendy

It’s about you and your hidden desires, about the bazaar of human pleasures, seen as more or less guilty.
